As many of you know, earlier this year we switched from digital letters to print. The second print issue went out in the mail on Friday.
For those of you on the mailing list, here’s what to keep an eye out for:
This is my first time trying to design a newsletter that meets the Postal Service guidelines, so can you let me know if it does/doesn’t make it to your home?
A few new links
Besides the mailings, there are two other links to tell you about.
PDFs to print
First, I’ve made all the print newsletters available in printable PDF format. To access:
Head to the website
Look for the Resources tab, which will be in the right column on desktop and at the bottom of the page on mobile
Click on Printable past issues and you’ll be taken to a Google drive folder (this one in fact)
Book list
Second, as you’ve heard me talk about, old books have been incredibly helpful to my spiritual growth. About five years ago, I purged my library, getting rid of almost everything. Since then, I’ve slowly built it back up, one recommendation at a time. These are titles I’ve heard often repeated by theologians, fiery preachers, and referenced in the footnotes of Christian classics.
It would be a joy to share some of these with you which is why I took an inventory and plan to keep this list updated. Access the list here.
If you’d like to borrow a book, send me an email: derek.gillette@gmail.com.
In love,
Derek
